2. Appointment requests are scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 5:00. If you have a specific date and/or time request, please let us know in the notes section provided prior to clicking submit.

   In order to register your Micro-Utility Vehicle, you must bring the following items with you to your appointment:

   • Driver's License
   • Proof of Insurance
   • Sales Tax Receipt with the Finney County Treasurer's Office Stamp. This stamp proves that you have paid sales tax on this vehicle.
   • Card only payment
   • Download and complete the Micro-Utility Vehicle Registration form that is provided.

15. When registering your Micro-Utility Vehicle, you must know that these vehicles cannot be operated on the following streets. You may cross these streets, but cannot be operated on them.*

    Micro Utility Vehicle and Recreational Off-Road Vehicles may only be driving within the city limits of Garden City Kansas.

    Micro Utility Vehicle and Recreational Off-Road Vehicles may not be driven on any State Highway. This includes all of the following:

    • Kansas Avenue (K156)
    • N Taylor Avenue (Business H83)
    • E. Fulton Street (east of Main Street)
    • Main Street (south of E Kansas Avenue)
    • Bypass (H83 and H50)

    Micro Utility Vehicles and Recreational Off-Road Vehicles may drive only across any state highway listed.

    New Registration fees are $25 and annual renewal fees are $15. Payment may be made in the form of card only.

    Annual renewals for the year of 2020 are waived. Please complete the registration form and schedule an appointment to obtain your annual renewal sticker.
